Curicaueri and Xaratanga character designs

Character designs for the webcomic Rey Sol Tonatiuh by Louise Fogerty and Juan Manuel Colin Monroy. Two depictions of the Purepecha gods Curicaueri and his consort Xaratanga. They appear in dreams to humans as humble, poor and old and with splendor among the gods. Here you see both versions of each. Curicaueri appears in both versions with his signature black body paint and Xaratanga in one version with yellow paint worn by noblewomen.
