A female combatant based on Mounument 148 of of the May city of Tonina. She holds a stone in her hand. She appears to be a captive in a public fight with a man (without name). She has the prefix "Ix" which denotes her as a woman, but the rest of her name which appears in glyphs is too difficult to read. Her form of dress and exposed breast also confirm to us she is a woman. Her pose grabbing the man's hair suggests she has the edge in the fight. According to Karl Taube, it may be evidence of a kind of Maya "gladiatrix" which existed in the Classic period.
